Over forty six years ago, Living Earth opened its doors to the Worcester community on Pleasant St, the very first store of its kind in central Massachusetts. I’ve been a member of the L.E. family for a substantial chunk of that time. I have fond memories of the old store with the earthy scents of patchouli and valerian competing for one’s attention. I remember the heavy crocks brimming with beans, grains, nuts and dried fruit lined up in formation on the creaky wooden floor.
